This ranch house had beautiful, original old-growth redwood siding and batts, but its exterior had not been painted for over 30 years and required some TLC before painting. Tom and Laurel did extensive carpentry repairs and restoration to the siding, including replacing trim and batts. They scraped and sanded the entire exterior and caulked and sealed all seams, cracks, and trim. Two coats of oil-based primer were applied after the prep work was complete, followed by two coats of paint.
